Key Responsibilities:As a Quality Inspector, you will:
Inspect with Precision: Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on mechanical, electrical, or structural components used in spacecraft systems.
Measure with Accuracy: Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and coordinate measuring machines to perform tests on critical components.
Ensure Conformance: Evaluate and validate products against established quality requirements, making decisions regarding acceptance or rejection of work and test results.
Collaborate with Teams: Work with engineers and cross-functional teams to solve quality-related issues and ensure all products meet technical specifications.
Drive Improvement: Identify defects or malfunctioning units and work towards rework or acceptance decisions, ensuring high standards across all components and systems.
Work from Specifications: Interpret detailed drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, and work instructions to complete your inspections.
Qualifications:Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant quality assurance or inspection experience.
Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gages, and other inspection instruments.
Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to read and comprehend control plans, work instructions, and technical drawings.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong computer skills to manage inspection data and reports effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience working in a team environment to solve problems and balance workloads effectively.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.45 per hour
