Role Summary
* The Product Repair and Modification Technician supports the company by performing assembly, disassembly, repair, modification, and overhaul of aerospace vehicle components. The role includes troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, performing validation and verification testing, documenting all work for compliance, and ensuring flight-worthiness standards are met. The position requires strong technical skills in aerospace systems, the ability to work with limited oversight, and experience supporting maintenance and modification of V-22 aircraft. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* Experience performing maintenance or modification on V-22 aircraft.
* Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance practices, including tool control, FOD prevention, and health and safety procedures.
* Experience assembling, disassembling, removing, replacing, or repairing aerospace components in accordance with aerospace maintenance procedures.
* The ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults.
* The ability to perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
* The ability to document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
* The ability to visually inspect components for cleanliness and serviceability.
* The ability to work under general direction while independently resolving routine and complex issues.
* A high school diploma or GED
* A minimum of 4years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* The ability to travel within the United States based on business needs.
* The ability to obtain a Common Access Card to work on military bases. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* An FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
* Quality Assurance experience.
* Extensive depot-level modification experience. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes.
* Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul activities to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with specifications.
* Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
* Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
* Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components to confirm serviceability.
* Document all repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
* Inspect components and verify the accuracy of repairs to meet flight-worthiness requirements.
* Identify discrepancies in parts and assist with reconciliation.
* Perform modifications required to meet deliverable product specifications.
* Coordinate with engineering when clarification or additional support is required.
* Ensure the adequacy and accuracy of instructions and procedures used to repair, modify, or test assemblies.
* Support training activities and provide guidance to team members. Physical Requirements
* Able to
* Perform flexion and extension movements, including bending the head forward and backward.
* Perform handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, overhead reaching, head and neck rotation, standing, twisting at the waist, and walking.
* Climb and balance on stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, and inclined surfaces.
* Perform crawling and crouching movements, including squatting.
* Lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
