* High School Diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Helicopter experience with daily inspections, launching/recovering aircraft, and servicing
* Military Aviation Avionics experience
* Maintenance documentation experience, including forms and computer databases
* Experience using special tools and equipment related to Avionics
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* US Air Force Aviation Maintenance experience
* Helicopter maintenance experience
* Flightline Operations experience
* Military prior helicopter experience is highly preferred for mechanic roles Job Duties & Functions
* Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components
* Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities
* Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
* Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems
* Perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems and related components
* Remove and install integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and subassemblies
* Perform pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of integrated conventional weapon systems and associated components
* Accomplish configuration changes of integrated conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies based on mission requirements
* Perform explosive operations, including loading, unloading, positioning, arming, and safing conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics
* Control tools, clean work areas and equipment, and complete work control documentation in accordance with established procedures
* Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
* Inspect components and verify repairs for flight-worthiness requirements
* Support MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopter maintenance operations for the USAF Reserve unit
* Perform helicopter daily inspections, launch, recovery, and servicing operations
* Support flightline maintenance and operational activities
* Work variable shifts as required by program needs, including potential first, second, third, and weekend shifts
* Participate in onsite training activities as required Physical Requirements & Environment
* Must be able to work all shifts based on program requirements
* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
