Job Description:
  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Pacific Airlines’ Maintenance Training Administrator is responsible for oversight over Maintenance Trainers. The Maintenance Training Administrator will supervise, and project manage the creation and production of training as well as provide input into processes and procedures developed as it pertains to compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Training Administrator is responsible for overseeing the entire maintenance training program independently, ensuring instructors receive cross-training, while having the same level of autonomy but no direct reports.   • Upholding safety by making decisions that ensure policy and procedural compliance and accountability for the safety measures are met.
  • Demonstrating commitment through analyzing training needs, procuring curriculum from appropriate subject matter experts and overseeing the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of designated training programs within the organization.
  • Acting with integrity when performing and delegating required training maintenance to ensure we are compliant with state, federal, and industry regulations.

  • Demonstrating reliability through a leadership and management role as it pertains to overseeing the personnel, work productivity, and administrative functions as it pertains to Maintenance training.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must have high quality training experience, strong attention to detail, and have prior aviation experience. This person will have the ability to problem solve and be successful in a fast-paced professional environment with constantly changing priorities. Other qualifications include:

  • Must possess a high school diploma/GED while a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or FAA mechanic certificate with A&P ratings is preferred but not required.
  • Must have strong computer skills to include a demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, courseware development software, and learning management systems.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience utilizing and troubleshooting within Learning Management Systems; Cornerstone experience is preferred. 
  • Must have at least three (3) years in a high-volume training environment that is conducive to providing high quality training and excellence customer service as well as a minimum of one (1) year of instructional design experience.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of training experience; aviation maintenance specific experience is preferred.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills as well as be able to communicate effectively in small or large group settings.
  • Must have strong work and leadership ethics and the ability to lead and support a team while maintaining efficient organizational skills with a fluctuating workload.
  • Must have the ability to accurately document, record information, and maintain company required record keeping, with a high attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
  • Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
