Position Summary:

Level 3 Maintenance Techs are instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment. This vital role supports our mission to efficiently produce high-quality aerospace components, requiring a strong understanding of electrical and general maintenance in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Level three techs are master mechanics who work without supervision to perform all CNC machine related issues, including all levels of troubleshooting and repair, demonstrating the ability to read blueprints, interact with CNC controls, assemble and disassemble CNC machines, while serving as either a mechanical or technical SME.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machinery, ensuring reliable operation for producing aerospace components.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues in equipment used across our metal forming and machining processes.
  • Lead and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge to address complex facility repair issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment condition.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including sourcing outside vendors and drafting purchase orders for outsourced services.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for the maintenance team.
  • Comprehensive background in CNC controls including ladder logic and trace diagnostics.
  • Ability to effectively inspect, diagnose, and repair all machine equipment and support equipment with a comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/ pneumatic circuits.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in general machine repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and facilities maintenance within an aerospace manufacturing setting.
  • Possess familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance activities.
  • Exhibit experience in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment specifications.
  • Display proficiency in basic administrative tasks, including vendor sourcing and purchase order drafting.

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or trade school education is preferred.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $28.00 to $42.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
