Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager, Journeyman to provide daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in support of aircraft maintenance, support equipment, and all assigned Government assets. The successful candidate will administer the operations of the maintenance departments in accordance with the NAVAIRINST 3710.1 and CNAFINST 4790.2 series, ensuring full and effective employment of assigned personnel and fulfillment of contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in support of aircraft maintenance, support equipment, and assigned Government assets.
  • Administer the operations of the maintenance departments per the NAVAIRINST 3710.1 and CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
  • Define and assign responsibilities, functions, and operations per directives.
  • Ensure full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
  • Manage, control, and execute activities with the development of plans under the contract operations to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Implement policies, practices, and revisions as required.
  • Review and implement all mechanical specifications and manuals for current operations.
  • Interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data to provide management reports and/or briefs necessary to make qualitative decisions about aircraft, equipment, support equipment, material condition, readiness, utilization, maintenance workload, and upcoming workloads.
  • Review OOMA Reports and ADBs for accuracy, completeness, and content to meet the daily workload.
  • Ensure oil consumption records have been reviewed for each engine/gearbox prior to every flight (as required).
  • Update aircraft Weight and Balance and configuration for each flight as applicable.
  • Ensure aircraft are properly configured for mission flight(s) in accordance with the flight schedule.
  • Assist with planning meetings in advance of each phase inspection.
  • Support input of required data for the MMP.
  • Provide appropriate oversight and initiate supply priority and project codes.
  • Assist in the determination of properly assigned cannibalization actions and approval requests.
  • Conduct regular reviews and controls of assigned AWM.
  • Closely coordinate projects to ensure total maintenance accountability is maintained and coordinated with Maintenance Control.
  • Facilitate periodic planning and informational meetings.
  • Ensure all direct report employees and maintenance employees receive job and safety training.
  • Release aircraft Safe for Flight.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
  • At least five (5) years of management experience in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
  • Must possess a TOP SECRET clearance with Yankee White access.
  • This position is contingent on contract award.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,347.72 - $90,676.83 per year
