The Maintenance Control Records Technician is responsible for ensuring the consistent application of LFN’s maintenance quality standards and the adherence to LFN’s policies and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Must be detail oriented, teamwork oriented, and have a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements
  • High reliability with exceptional organizational capabilities
  • Ability to effectively work as a member of a team as well as independently
  • Extensive general knowledge of Ramco Operating System
  • Experience with data entry, and proficient using Ramco
  • Experience in maintaining Aviation records preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA Part 135 requirements, along with the Life Flight Network GOM, GMM and Maintenance SOP
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.  There is an additional premium for working night or weekend shifts.  
  • Analytical abilities sufficient to handle complex technical and administrative matters
  • Initiates creating, implementing, and improving processes and policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists and communicates status of aircraft airworthiness with assistance of Maintenance Control Inspector to maintenance staff
  • Assists with audits of maintenance logbook entries, work packages generated by the field maintenance to ensure adherence to LFN’s policies and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a liaison between management and technicians to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete logbook documentation
  • Assist the Maintenance Control Manager in the development of improved methods and procedures for the performance of quality assurance functions
  • Assist in the maintenance of in-house technical publication library; ensure technicians have access to publications as required
  • Coordinate and communicate with multiple departments assisting with aircraft movement, general logistics of parts and staffing along with the status of aircraft
  • Provide Ramco support to field personnel
  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Manager
