Job Description

As a Helicopter Mechanic, you will perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies. You will utilize your technical knowledge of aircraft systems to troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions, maintaining and restoring aircraft to airworthy conditions. You will also be responsible for maintaining records in compliance with FAA and company standards, keeping the premises of the shop facility clean and organized, performing dynamic balancing of aircraft components and systems, and ensuring equipment and tools are in serviceable condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions using technical knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Maintain and restore aircraft to airworthy or sale condition.
• Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company standards.
• Keep shop premises clean and organized.
• Perform dynamic balancing of aircraft components and systems.
• Ensure equipment and tools are in serviceable and working condition.
• Under supervision, remove, reinstall, and replace major components such as rotor and tail rotor blades, main transmissions, tail rotor gear boxes, and main rotor and tail rotor hub assemblies, engines and subassemblies.

• Current, valid A&P License with verifiable experience
• High attention to detail
• Thrive in a team environment

• High School Diploma
• Experience with Agusta A109, Airbus AS350 / 355 / EC130 series, and Sikorsky S76

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Van Nuys, California.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $92000.00/yr.
