About the Team:

The Fanatics Aviation team is excited to announce we are hiring an Aviation Maintenance Engineer to provide both domestic and international air transportation for company executives, investors, and talent in support of Fanatics business lines. This job allows for both a technical role as well as Corporate exposure and responsibilities.  Fanatics Aviation conducts international operations as well as domestic. The work environment is dynamic in nature, requiring immediate and thoughtful decision-making while operating in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for assisting the assigned Maintenance Manager in the maintenance management of assigned aircraft and ensuring that procedures within the GMM and AIM are followed.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations and upkeep of flight department facilities.  
  • Ensure airworthiness as defined within 14 CFR by researching permanent records, maintenance tracking programs, FAA Airworthiness Directives, and Manufacturer Service Bulletins/Customer Bulletins for assigned aircraft
  • Familiar working knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations, industry best practices, OSHA, and IS-BAO requirements.
  • Comply with internal company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with the client, vendors, and other internal departments
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions
  • Perform quality maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections to conform to the standards established by the company, Federal regulation, and industry best practices achieving the highest reliability goals
  • Troubleshoot reported discrepancies and handle complex technical challenges
  • Responsible for management of the maintenance inspection requirements per CFR 91.409 or approved inspection program
  • Provide technical support, as needed, in support of assigned aircraft
  • Review and ensure all required entries into the aircraft logbooks and permanent records are accurate and preserved in accordance with company and FAA requirements
  • Update and interface with the Computerized Maintenance Tracking Program
  • Procurement of parts and materials
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance planning, along with management oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications
  • Ensure timely scheduling of maintenance in order to least impact client flight schedule and provide for a high degree of aircraft availability
  • Proactively provide recommendations for modifications and upgrades, as necessary
  • Assist in obtaining vendor proposals for upcoming maintenance packages
  • Assist in the establishment of contracts, publications, and subscriptions
  • Assist in the preparation of an annual maintenance budget for assigned aircraft
  • Review and code invoices generated for assigned aircraft.
  • Reconcile invoices with vendors and process to the accounting department for payment
  • Maintain a Purchase Order log for all expenditures on assigned aircraft
  • Represents Fanatics as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the Fanatics network
Job Requirements:
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong customer centricity
  • SAP knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Two (2) years of college or equivalent technical training, in a related field preferred
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) desired
  • Has a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner to deliver the best experience to customers and colleagues
  • Quality-driven with a passion for excellence to represent Fanatics as a Brand Ambassador
  • Demonstration and commitment to Fanatics' values
  • Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) Certificate
  • 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance
  • Experience working with Gulfstream 550. Preferred, but not required, experience working with Agusta AW139. 
  • 3 years or more of corporate aircraft maintenance experience or military civilian derivative aircraft experience
  • Must be able to obtain an airport ID badge
  • At least 3 years of experience working with MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Live within 1 hour of the aircraft base, KPNE
