Flight Readiness Technician C

Contract Position
$35.08-$44.22/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform final component installation, system validation testing, and troubleshooting for aircraft before delivery.
- Conduct inspections of flight test installations and functional testing of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
- Identify and document mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, ensuring proper repairs.
- Execute pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintenance, modifications, and rework.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of completed work, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Assist with system and subsystem pre-delivery inspections to prepare aircraft for handover.
- Plan and schedule tasks independently with guidance from leads, with work reviewed for compliance and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work Requirements: Must be willing and able to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Certification: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent experience to obtain an FAA Repairman’s Certificate.
- Experience:
- 1+ years in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
- 1+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 787 Program experience.
- Experience working in a team environment with formal or informal team leadership responsibilities.
- Airline, MRO, or Overhaul experience.
- Familiarity with computing and operating systems.
- A&P license preferred.
