Flight Readiness Technician B

Contract Position
$29.80-$37.49/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Ensure production efficiency, safety, and product quality while performing final component installations, system validations, and preflight/post-flight checks.
- Perform routine final component installation, verification, and functional validation testing.
- Conduct flight test installations, functional testing, and system troubleshooting for pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
- Assist with pre-flight and post-flight inspections, maintenance, and modifications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults during testing and operation.
- Verify the accuracy of work performed, conducting self-inspections as needed.
- Perform system and subsystem pre-delivery inspections to ensure aircraft readiness.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks with guidance from leads, with work reviewed for compliance and quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED and 1+ year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work Requirements: Must be able to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Experience:
- 6+ months of avionics and/or electrical experience.
- 6+ months working with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
- 6+ months experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk management.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- 6+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
- 6+ months of experience with the 787 Program.
- Familiarity with the Boeing Production System.
- 6+ months of Field/Flight Line Operations experience.
