As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing aircraft galley systems and related products onsite at an aircraft manufacturing factory. You will be part of a small team representing the company that manufactures these systems, acting as the support team for any maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting issues identified by the customer. Your role will involve working alongside the customer to repair and find solutions.

• Utilize hand tools and schematics for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with partners and managers to develop and implement solutions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Repair metal and plastic panels, wiring, and mechanical components.
• Operate hand tools and power tools.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical repair.
• Eligibility for Boeing badge.
• Preferred experience in aviation.
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, assembly, service, and installation.

• 1+ years of experience in building or repairing electromechanical products or related education.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with and work alongside customer personnel to problem-solve.
• Experience with electrical theory and repair is preferred.

The position operates Monday to Friday, initially on a day shift for 1-2 months (0630 - 1530), transitioning to a long-term shift from 2pm - 10pm with rotating on-call coverage every third weekend. You will be part of a small team of four, fully attached to the Renton factory, with occasional projects at different locations. The role requires adaptability to client schedules and requests, and there may be downtime due to the aircraft production schedule. Early leave may be possible some days when tasks are completed.

This is a Contract position based out of Renton, WA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
