JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting all aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. Must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support tasks. Complete assigned tasks within the allocated hourly budget and on schedule maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of safety regulations and requirements.

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an aircraft mechanic or mechanic on off-equipment aircraft systems or parts (experience is not cumulative)
Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment
Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures
Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, and work in confined spaces in unusual positions with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs
Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents
Must have manual dexterity
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Aircraft experience, preferably on Falcon aircraft
Experience in a production atmosphere
Has certification from an aircraft mechanics technical school or equivalent
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels, and in confined spaces. Will work with companys approved adhesives and chemicals and exposed to aircraft environmental hazards.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation for this position typically falls between $24 and $30 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
