About the RoleAs an FAA A&P Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining aircraft airworthiness and reliability. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and inspection ensures that every aircraft meets rigorous FAA standards—supporting safe and efficient operations in the aviation industry.
Position Details- Location: Trumbull, CT
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 1st Shift (4/10 schedule)
- Pay Rate: $29.50 per hour
- Duration: May 29, 2026 – May 29, 2027
- Worksite: Onsite, Full-Time
What You’ll Do- Troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft and engine systems
- Perform detailed inspections to ensure airworthiness and compliance
- Interpret wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation
- Utilize diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify issues
- Maintain accurate FAA-required maintenance records and documentation
- Support aircraft fueling and grooming as needed
- Uphold strict safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities
What You BringRequired Qualifications- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a fast-paced aviation maintenance environment
- Familiarity with FAA documentation and inspection processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
