We are seeking an Assembly Operator to join our team in Barnstaple. The position is on our rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 rotating to Monday to Thursday 14:00-00:00
Your day-to-day
- Assemble products efficiently following established procedures and work instructions.
- Pick components for assembly orders, following standard work process.
- Continuously monitor and ensure all manufactured products meet the required quality specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
- Use all personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Ensure smooth shift handovers to maintain continuous and effective manufacturing operations.
- Actively participate in problem-solving activities.
Who we are looking for
- Someone with previous assembly experience, preferably within engineering.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and methodical working style.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills and ability to complete production documentation.
