We have an exciting opening for Assembly in Greeneville, TN

               This position assembles product per blueprints assuring finished product passes all applicable performance test requirements.  

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities:

• Staging and sub-assembling components per instructions.

• Handling components in a safe manner to ensure they are protected from damage.

• Repair rejected product using sound troubleshooting practices.

• Operate test equipment to determine which assemblies pass performance test requirements and which require repair.

• Record accurate counts and production documentation.

• Keep work areas swept and clean and machinery and tooling in safe working condition.

• Assist in the training of all employees.

• Utilize safety equipment and follow safe and good manufacturing practices for personal protection and safety of co-workers.

• Audit parts produced at specific intervals during the production run to ensure continuing compliance with specifications. 

• Ensure gaging meets specifications and complies with inspection requirements as out lined in the quality audit program.

• Use good judgement in efficiently completing the assigned objectives

• Other duties as required by day-to-day plant operation.   

Qualifications

We are looking for talent with:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Motivated self-starting team player

• Conducts him/herself in a professional and ethical manner.

• Good Communication skills 

• Ability to train, instruct and transfer job knowledge and skill 

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently throughout the day.

• Must be able to slide up to 300 motors per shift along a roller conveyor.

• Ability to use both hands continuously throughout the day to reach and handle up to 300 parts per day.
