Job Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Management System (QMS) and Customer Requirements
- Follow FAA and DoD Regulatory guidance to establish sufficient traceability of products being inspected to help prevent the introduction of counterfeit and suspect unapproved parts into our inventory and/or our customers inventory
- Inspector will be required to have a basic understanding of product certification from the Production Approval Holder and certification relative to products for return to service (airworthiness)
- Inspection of product can include but is not limited to document review, visual inspection, packaging, shelf life, life limited records, materials subject to electrostatic discharge (ESD), etc.
- Inspector may be required to review technical/regulatory data which may include but not limited to Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, FAA Order, Code of Federal Regulations, etc.
- Inspector may be required to use calibrated measurement/test equipment that can include but is not limited to digital micrometers, pin gages, digital height gages, digital calipers, etc.
