Job Description:

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you’ll be performing the assembly and disassembly of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, as well as harvesting serviceable parts for redistribution, parts sales, or maintenance. This role will have you using a variety of hand tools, calibrated tools, and drills to ensure aircraft are properly maintained and ready for operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly and disassembly of Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
• Harvest serviceable parts for redistribution, parts sales, or to maintain current fleets of aircraft.
• Utilize hand tools, calibrated tools, and drills in a professional and safe manner.
• Work with aircraft mechanical systems and assist in troubleshooting and repair.
• Follow blueprints, manuals, and safety procedures to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ year of mechanical experience (hands-on mechanical or general labor experience is a great starting point).
• Ability to use hand tools to assemble and disassemble mechanical components.
• Experience with aircraft mechanical systems or an eagerness to learn about them.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• No prior aviation experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Experience in the National Guard with aircraft systems is a plus.
• A&P License is preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

• Location: Birmingham, Alabama.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
