Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic III - Ejection Seat Mechanic
Job DescriptionJoin our team and play a pivotal role in the F/A-18 Operational (O-Level) and Intermediate Level (I-Level) Maintenance Program. This position focuses on the crucial maintenance and inspection of Ejection Seats and related systems to ensure that F/A-18 aircraft are always mission-ready for the Marines.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, organize, and evaluate Aircrew Flight Equipment operations related to equipment accountability and personnel reliability.
- Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, engines, and other components, including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
- Focus primarily on Ejection Seat Maintenance to meet operational readiness.
Essential Skills- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- CDQAR and CDI Qualification is mandatory.
- Extensive Ejection Seat Experience is essential.
- F/A-18 Experience is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Egress systems is highly preferred.
- Completion of A school is required; C school is highly preferred.
- Marine Corps MOS Codes 6281, 6282, 6283, 6286, 6287, and 6288 are advantageous.
- Ejection Seat Certification is required.

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position, working Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role is based at a Marine Corps Air Station, with work performed both inside hangars and on the flight line, as well as in the backshop.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaufort, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.60 - $46.60/hr.
