Job Description

We are seeking skilled and Aircraft Mechanics to join our team in performing heavy maintenance on Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft. This role primarily involves conducting C Checks and supporting line maintenance in Calgary and Edmonton. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and open to working in various capacities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance and C Checks on Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft.
• Participate in line maintenance activities in Calgary and Edmonton.
• Troubleshoot and inspect aircraft systems for repair and maintenance needs.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs).

• Licensed Aircraft Mechanic - M2 or unlicensed with 5+ years of experience on aircraft.
• Experience with Q400, 737NG MAX, or SAAB aircraft maintenance.
• Proficiency in heavy and line maintenance tasks.
• Possession of a current or past RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card).
• Must have own tools
• Background check
• D&A testing is required

This role offers the potential for a long-term contract or conversion to a permanent position for outstanding performers. Compensation Details

• $50.00 (Unlicensed)
• $55.00 (AME M2)
• $65.00 daily per diem including travel days

Work Environment

You will be working in a hangar alongside a team of AMEs to perform heavy maintenance checks. The position follows a 5/5/4 shift rotation, with working hours from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Flexibility is required for line maintenance, which operates on 24-hour shifts. The role demands adaptability to varying schedules, including potential overtime of 5-10 hours per week.
