Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT24)

MHI RJ Aviation, Inc. has job openings for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Technician based out of its location in Tucson, AZ 85756.

Job Duties: 

• Examine and inspect aircraft components to identify mechanical and/or electrical problems.
• Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems on CRJ aircraft.
• Remove or install aircraft components.
• Assemble and/or install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories.
• Troubleshoot problems with aircraft mechanical and electrical systems and components. Multiple openings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of general and/or electrical maintenance experience on corporate or commercial jets.
• Experience must include aviation heavy maintenance.
• Requires ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings; ability to effectively communicate technical terminology (verbal & written) aircraft status.
• Must own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
• Comfortable with shift work (12 hours shifts, overnights, weekends, holidays), including nonscheduled overtime, days and/or nights.
