We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Hangar Technician to perform general hangar and facility maintenance. This role includes cleaning offices, hangar floor, and breakroom, as well as detailing aircraft interiors and exteriors before delivery to customers. You will also be responsible for minor facility repairs, parts delivery, and assisting A&P Mechanics with light maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, hangar floor, and breakroom.
• Detail aircraft exteriors and interiors, including exhaust stack and boot polishing.
• Perform minor facility repairs such as repairing/replacing office lighting and light fixtures, and resolving minor plumbing issues.
• Deliver parts to and from the supply company.
• Transport customers to and from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood or Miami International airport.
• Assist A&P Mechanics with light maintenance duties.

• 1+ years of experience in aircraft cleaning and detailing, mechanic helper, hangar cleaner, or performing basic maintenance within a hangar.
• Proficiency in repair, cleaning, detailing, hangar maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Basic housekeeping duties for the hangar.
• Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Must have a clean driving record.

• Experience assisting A&P Mechanics with light maintenance duties.

This is a great position to start in if you are looking to get into an apprenticeship program and eventually move into A&P roles. The company will help pay for your license, and the position is a 6-month contract to hire.

Work Environment

You will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves working in a hangar environment, performing both indoor and outdoor tasks, and adhering to safety protocols.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00
