This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications.
  • Apply sealant to the surface per specifications.
  • Install various aircraft system components such as panel installs.
  • Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts).

 

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to identify common tools
  • Must have the ability to complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
  • Use a computer in a production environment.
  • Appropriate protective clothing/equipment is determined by the task you are performing.
  • Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts).
  • Various tools such as Rivet gun and bucking bar, screwdrivers, lock bolt puller, power screwdriver, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner, Winslow, 90-Degree Power Vane, or Quackenbush and various other hand tools.
  • Chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes
  • Inspect your work quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
  • Use of high-impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).
  • Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting),
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
  • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
  • 1+ aviation / technical school experience required
  • 9-10 weeks of training
  • Working around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock, e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and exposure to constant noise.
  • Finger manipulation (keyboarding, other).
  • Reading from a computer screen, printed drawings, or documents.
  • Ability to adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance with regulation.
  • Work in confined spaces and respirator usage.
  • Carrying/Lifting up to 10-35 pounds.
  • Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), Handling, Kneeling, Bending at the waist, Reaching (overhead), Rotation of head/neck, Standing, Twisting at the waist, and walking.
  • 1. Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • 2. Ability to qualify and use a respirator.
  • 3. Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
  • 4. Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.
  • 5. Proficiency with typical hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, etc.)
  • Use of high-impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).

EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

FULL TIME/ALL SHIFTS
These positions are variable shifts, contractors must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
