Aerotek is seeking qualified Blackhawk Mechanics with A&P license to perform field maintenance on helicopters for firefighting contracts. $40/hour plus per diem provided:
- TRANSPORTATION, MEALS & LODGING PROVIDED including to/from worksite and home if they are not local
- Rotating from home to home hangar and worksites provided. 12 on/12 off rotations.
- During summer/fire season, lots of OT; usually over 40 hours by the third day of the week. Much of time daytime is not busy, if the aircraft are flying and operating, and maintenance happens in the evenings or early mornings.
- Blackhawk experience required
- Disassemble rotary aircraft
- Remove panels , parts
- Clean and repair parts for possible reuse
- Rivet panels
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- FAA A&P License
- USFS requirement on the contract: 2+ years of UH60 maintenance within the last 3 years or 1 year plus TI orders on the aircraft (need a copy)
- Minimum 90 days maintaining aircraft in field conditions.
- No tools required
