Responsibilities:
*Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body.
*Perform routine maintenance checks.
*Interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters.
*Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
*Keep detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines.
*Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations.
*Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards.
*Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly. Qualifications
*Airframe & Powerplant license required.
*Must be familiar with using test equipment for track and balance.
*Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes.
*3+ years’ experience as a helicopter mechanic, with at least 2 years on any of the designated helicopters (Airbus – AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145, BK117; Agusta –109, 119, 139, 169; Bell – 212, 214,407, 429, 505, UH1, OH-58.
*Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
*Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals.
*Must have your own tools.
*Any OEM school training within the past 4 years.
*Must be able to read and write English.
*Available to travel as required.
