Under general Supervision individual will perform industrial warehouse duties and work assignments related to movement, handling, oversight and management of materials and equipment. Individuals will work directly under Asset Management or FMS Supervisor and perform day-to-day supply operations and all assigned tasks in support of the Class VII and warehouse operations to include logistical functions directly related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) gear, weapons and classified vault management.
Responsibilities
- This position performs technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and for the effective and efficient management of all items included in the FB and FE accounts)
- Manually load or unload material/merchandise from freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices
- Issues and transports material, including stock and other special storage items, between storage areas and delivery points. Checks, identifies, and verifies accuracy of records and quantities of material received, stored, shipped, or issued
- Performs Physical Inventory count of material
- Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage
- Use asset barcode scanner and related Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) to record transactions and update system balances
- Manage the MRSP, HPMSK, and Special Spares item in a kit/package by using activity. Load, change, or delete kit/package detail records for applicable input format being used to determine how to best segment MAJCOM provided authorizations
- Perform Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) warehouse receiving, storing, issuing, and shelf life and perform equipment custodian duties
- Maintain weapons vault access and management. Perform gas mask leak testing procedures and all other inventory functions associated with IPE equipment and supplies
- Utilizes forklift and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load and unload supply items
- Require ability to work a flexible schedule based on the changing priorities of the department to include extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call as necessary
Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing
- Demonstrated use of industrial powered and mechanical material handling equipment, (forklift, side loaders, stock pickers, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
