Job Summary:
The Technical Supply Management Specialist performs limited aspects of technical supply management work, including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization. This role is related to depot, local, or other supply activities, typically segregated by commodity area or function and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually pertain to stable or standardized segments of technical supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, ensuring accurate records and optimal stock levels.
- Oversee storage management, ensuring efficient use of space and proper maintenance of stored items.
- Conduct cataloging activities, maintaining up-to-date and accurate catalog records.
- Utilize property effectively, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Perform audits and checks to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on supply activities, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply management policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve supply management issues, escalating more complex problems to senior staff as needed.
- Support depot and local supply activities, ensuring efficient and effective supply management.
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply management, inventory management, or a related area.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
- Experience with cataloging and property utilization in a technical supply environment.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Wage Range:
This position is in the range from $30 to $35 depending on experience
