About the RoleAs a Customs Analyst, you’ll play a critical part in supporting U.S. trade compliance programs—ensuring that imported goods meet regulatory requirements while maximizing cost-saving opportunities. Youll evaluate product eligibility under trade agreements like USMCA, support post-entry filings, and collaborate across supply chain teams to improve customs efficiency.
What You’ll DoAnalyze bills of materials for Free Trade Agreement (FTA) applicability
Apply USMCA rules to determine qualification status
Review and validate supplier-provided USMCA certificates
Extract and analyze customs broker entry data for post-entry claim opportunities
Support reconciliation, post-summary corrections, and duty drawback filings
Coordinate with supply chain teams on USMCA certificate solicitations
Follow internal instructions and procedures for FTA compliance
Assist in other duty mitigation programs as needed
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED
3+ years of general customs or trade compliance experience
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to apply customs regulations to large datasets
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Free Trade Agreement analysis (especially USMCA)
Prior customs experience involving Canada
Familiarity with SAP
Background in logistics or supply chain analytics
