This is a 1st shift position Monday - Friday at the Franklin Location. Pay Range is: $18.50/h - $22.00/h *dependent on experience*
SUMMARY:
The Material Handler is responsible for keeping the workflow uninterrupted and aims to decrease all variation to production and bring the concentration on meaningful work and productivity. The position requires an in-depth understanding of the work processes and outstanding communication capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Act as a Water Spider for the NDT department, assist Level I and Level II technicians as needed to help move parts through the department.
- Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make PCC a safe work environment.
- Achieve team production and efficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be substituted by manufacturing experience.
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred, previous experience in the casting industry is a plus.

- Understanding of basic math calculations.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, test equipment or other devices where interpretation is required.
- Ability to perform duties in manufacturing environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
