Morson Edge are recruiting for a Logistics Operative to support a busy Stores and Warehouse environment.

16.68 PAYE / 22.95 Umbrella

This role will focus on ensuring the effective and efficient control of product within Stores, supporting operational teams while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day warehouse duties, ensuring stock accuracy, safe working practices and continuous improvement within the Stores function.

• Carry out warehouse and stores duties to ensure efficient product control

• Provide a professional level of customer service to internal stakeholders

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse environment

• Take a proactive approach to daily Stores operations

• Maintain and report stock levels and monitor vending activities

• Ensure a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety procedures

• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and suggest process improvements

• Support internal and external audits as required

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and processes

• Resolve customer concerns and follow up as required

• Maintain warehouse security and access control

• Contribute positively to team objectives and business targets

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (Aerospace or Manufacturing desirable)

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills

• Proactive and team-oriented approach

• Understanding of Health & Safety within a warehouse setting

• Basic IT skills for stock control systems
