Job Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring an In-Flight Services Buyer in Atlanta. This role supports Delta’s Onboard Services Logistics team, overseeing the planning, purchasing, and distribution of products used in the passenger cabin. Key Responsibilities:

Perform supply chain process engineering to streamline operations.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve supply processes and lead cross-organizational projects.
Manage supply planning, assess supplier reliability, and adjust inventory levels based on operational changes.
Lead product launch plans and final inventory setup.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements for reduced lead times and waste.
Train suppliers on Delta’s replenishment methods and tools.
Ensure all actions align with safety-conscious behaviors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
18-24 months of experience in materials, inventory, or demand planning is required.
12+ months of purchasing or buying experience.
Strong analytical skills with 18-24 months of data analysis experience.
High proficiency in Excel and database reporting tools.
Project management or organizational improvement experience.
Knowledge of SAP and Lean methodologies is preferred.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-15).
