What You Will Do:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Inspector at our growing facility in Grand Prairie, TX. Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations, a recognized leader in refurbishment of aero-engine and Industrial Gas Turbine airfoils, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. • Performs final inspection functions of material and non-product. 
• Plan inspection sequence and inspection layouts, and use a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment to perform less complex inspection operations.
• Align with all training required, including warehouse procedures in receiving, receive-in inspection and materials handling procedures.
• Work with the Materials organization to troubleshoot materials issues.
• Assign in-coming nonconforming parts and non-product items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Perform and assist in warehouse and engine logistics.
• Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by following all policies and procedures, completing all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities
• Dispositions components for air-worthiness by completing 8130 certificates

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High school graduate or GED
• US Citizenship or Permanent resident status due to government contracts and or regulations
• Minimum 2 years experience in inspection of aero-engine component repair

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 5 years experience in quality inspection of aero-engine components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with SAP

Pratt & Whitney Grand Prairie, TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
