What You Will Do:As a Fabrication Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Machine Setup and Fabrication: Set up and operate machines for sheet metal fabrication, tube bending, extrusion, and composite lay-up.
Precision Assembly: Assemble and install precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components, including wire harnesses and avionics products.
Soldering and Power Plant Work: Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products, and assist in the assembly, repair, modification, and installation of power plants and drive trains.
Testing and Preparation: Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests to meet quality and production standards.
Corrosion Protection and Coatings: Apply organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
Follow Established Drawings: Work on articles of limited complexity, ensuring all processes align with established specifications and requirements.
You will be an integral part of a team where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential to delivering high-quality work in aerospace manufacturing.
What You Need to Succeed:Must Have:
Manufacturing or Assembly Experience: Whether in aerospace, fabrication, or assembly, your experience in a manufacturing environment will be crucial.
Strong Communication and Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, maintain a strong work ethic, and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed written and verbal work instructions and processes accurately.
Pluses:
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus.
Fabrication Expertise: Experience with sheet metal fabrication, composite lay-up, or other related tasks is highly desirable.

Pay Details: $27.02 per hour
