ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Buyer for an exciting aerospace company! This would be a great opportunity for someone with supply chain management experience to further their career with a great company.
Prepare and issue requests for proposals/quotes, perform price analysis in support of proposals, and lead formal negotiations
Construct various types of contracts for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business to include long range procurement agreements, sourcing partnerships, continuous improvement initiatives and identification of opportunities to enhance efficiency
Own procurement process from requisition creation through final payment of invoices
Identify, negotiate, execute, and manage strategic agreements
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or similar with 2-5+ ears of experience in supply chain management
Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Knowledge of Engineering Data
Experience negotiating and managing multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material, and Cost Type
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Aerospace or space industry experience
Experience with Avionics of Fluids components
Experience with import/export regulations
Certified Professional in Supply Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional certification
Experience with Deltek, Costpoint, Jira, Sharepoint
PMP Certification
