Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job DescriptionThe Quality Inspector will perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans. The Inspector will conduct inspections of aircraft parts and certify these parts under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications before shipping them to customers using SAP software.
Responsibilities
- Conduct material inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
- Record and maintain traceability documentation for quality assurance.
- Perform visual inspections and assessments using calipers and other tooling.
- Certify aircraft parts as per FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications.
Essential Skills- 3 years of maintenance experience and knowledge of aircraft operations, systems, and practices, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Familiarization with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systems.
- Understanding of AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120 standards.
- Experience with First Article Inspection processes.
- Proficiency in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges for airworthiness determinations.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with SAP software.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with aircraft maintenance and parts inspection.
- Knowledge of aircraft mechanics and visual inspection techniques.

Work Environment
Located minutes away from the Washington Dulles International Airport and approximately 30 miles from the U.S. Capitol, this site serves as a major parts distribution hub in the Americas. The facility operates as a 24/7 fulfillment center, featuring an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk and Quality Assurance (QA) operations. The 20,000-square-foot warehouse incorporates new technology aimed at increasing productivity. There are four openings on the first shift, with work hours from Monday to Friday, either 6 AM to 3 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
