MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· At least one year of basic carpentry or related experience
· Must be able to work from blueprints or sketches
· Must have required tools
· Must be able to use drills, belt, disc and drum sanders and other common hand tools and
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
1. Responsible for work assignments to ensure that projects are completed within budgeted manhours
2. Responsible for ensuring assigned crew has full knowledge of what is expected of them at any and all times.
3. Responsible to ensure that all members of crew remain at their work stations being productive and not interfering
with the efforts of others.
4. When a crew member is not performing up to Falcon Jet standards, you are expected to express your concerns to
your Supervisor, recommending a course of action for potential approval to resolve/correct the situation.
5. When a problem in your work area impedes ability to meet quality and budgeted manhour standards, you must
notify your Supervisor.
6. Responsible for the appearance of your work area. The area should be orderly and professional in appearance and
ready for customer visitation at all times.
7. The Installer must complete assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budgets, and on schedule while
maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations
and requirements.
8. ”CRITICAL” - Fabricate, assemble and install products, such as side panels, headliners, service ledges, cornices,
etc.
9. “CRITICAL” - Install galleys, lavatories, entertainment cabinets and water systems, assembles and installs window
assemblies, sliding window shades, window frames, etc.
10. “CRITICAL” - Cut, fit and attach fabric, leather, naugahyde, etc., to decorative panels, using cement or other
fasteners as required.
11. “CRITICAL” - Cut, fits and install carpeting in aircraft. Installs cabin and cockpit chairs.
12. “CRITICAL” - Perform functional checks on installed systems — air, oxygen, water, etc.
13. Set up and operate standard shop equipment.
14. Accurately log on Labor Data Collection System for work orders, time and attendance tracking.
15. Complete tasks in quality manner within allocated budgets and schedules.
16. Assist others as required.
17. Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and Company Safety Procedures.
