Job Title: Upholstery Technician II

Schedule: 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $26.94 per hour

High School Diploma or GED. 2 years experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers and/or various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades. Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Comments
Aviation upholstery experience, foam fabrication, seat covering and sewing skills are highly desired.

Job Summary The candidate will work as an Upholstery Technician II, focusing on fabricating and installing various upholstery components for aircraft interiors based on engineering drawings and specifications. They will handle materials such as fabric, vinyl and leather hides using sewing equipment and hand tools.

The job is for a person who makes and puts in place seat covers and other parts inside airplanes using special drawings. They will cut materials like cloth or leather and use machines to sew them together.

    Skill Requirements Must-Have:

    commercial sewing machines: Experience with industrial-grade sewing machinery.

    sergers: Proficiency in using sergers for finishing edges.

    design/engineering drawings: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for manufacturing.

    aircraft specifications: Understanding of standards and requirements specific to aircraft interiors.

    Preferred:

    Experience in the aerospace industry.

    Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.



Pay Details: $26.94 per hour
