COMPLETIONS INTERIORS TRAINEE
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, learnto install fabricated aircraftinteriors including cabinetrycomponents, galleys, closets, divans, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, trim, panels,carpet and other similar accessories in for the completion of VIPaircraft.
ESSENTIAL JOBFUNCTIONS:
1. Learn how to properly install fabricated aircraftinteriors.
2. Within 90 daysyou must be able to interpret material specs and engineering drawingsto ensure installed interiors meet the design spec, quality standards andcustomer expectations.
3. Learn to requestmaterial needs timely to ensure a continuous workflow.
4. Within 90 days you must be able to adhere to all regulatory documentation regardingproper sign off, component installation, etc. as well as be able to ensure paperwork is complied with and completedtimely in accordance with the Comlux RSQM and other quality standards.
5. Follow all department safety guidelines and ensureproper usage of tools and equipment.
6. Basic knowledge of company installationprocedures, process specs, IOPs, etc.
7. Other duties as assigned but not covered herein.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC
1. HighSchool Diploma, or GED. Relevant trade school attendance is a plus.
2. Basic knowledge of the Interior Installationprocess as it specifically relates to the corporate aviation industry, in a completionsenvironment.
3. 1 years InteriorInstall experience, preferablyin the corporate aviation completion environment.
4. Abilityto read, write, speak, and understandthe English language.
5. Abilityto read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLSAND ABILITIES:
1. Basic knowledge and willingness to learn allaspects of the Interior Installation process.
2. Willingnessto obtain knowledge of the RSQM and FAA requirements as it relates to InteriorInstallation.
3. Workingknowledge of computers and related software utilized by Comlux.
4. Willingness to obtain working knowledge of lean or othercontinuous improvement opportunity techniques.
5. Abilityto communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.
WORKENVIRONMENT:
Thelocation where this position works is in an aircraft hangar environment whichcould be subject to weather changes and is subject to constant exposure to loudnoise, potential contact with hazardous waste material, heavy machinery, andother safety hazards such as cabinets, etc.

INTRODUCTORY PERIOD
Please note that you will be on a ninety (90) day probation, duringwhich your performance will be evaluated. Comlux shall periodicallyreview your performance and ability to perform each of the essential functionsof your position identified above prior to the expiration of the probationaryperiod. If you fail to pass the performance review or display behavioralissues or fail to meet expectations for reporting to work on time as scheduled,you shall be considered as having failed to qualify for continued employmentduring the probationary period, in which case Comlux shall be entitled toimmediately terminate your employment.
