At Jet Aviation, we take pride in crafting luxurious aircraft interiors that make every journey as comfortable as home for our customers. As a Carpet Fitter, you’ll craft and install non-textile flooring, underpadding, and carpets, making every aircraft interior a masterpiece of comfort and style.
Your mission
- Craft & Install: Precisely cut, bond, sew, and fit carpets and flooring to transform aircraft interiors into luxurious spaces.
- Bring Designs to Life: Create and follow patterns using engineering drawings and specifications to ensure a perfect fit.
- Ensure top Quality: Perform minor repairs and maintaining carpet protection to keep carpets in pristine condition.
- Be a compliance key player: Keep accurate records of materials, following safety and security regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with the Best Tools: Use advanced hand tools and equipment to shape, fit, and secure materials with expert craftsmanship.
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship, diploma, or equivalent experience in carpet fitting, upholstery, or a related field.
- Experience with carpet fitting, upholstery, or flooring—aviation experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D manufacturing drawings and material specifications.
- Comfortable using measuring tools, commercial sergers, and various hand tools used in carpet trades.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-driven, and team player.
