SUMMARY
Under close supervision, make repairs to aircraft VIP seats and subassemblies and/or to Monuments: Lavatories, Galleys and other interior components according to specifications and blueprints.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Repair aircraft seating, including passenger and crew seats.
- Repair interior monuments (galleys, lavatories and class dividers), overhead bins and side walls.
- Disassemble components, determine malfunctions & make repairs.
- Read inspection reports & rework instructions.
- Read blueprints to determine type of repair, tools required, and to plan sequence of operations.
- Read Schematics.
- Reassemble components to meet company, customer and FAA standards.
- Accurately read and follow schematics / blueprints and work orders.
- Use bonding materials, fillers and compounds to make repairs.
- Plumbing repair.
- Read and understand blueprints, CMM & IPCs.
- Painting.
- Surface preparation.
