Delta’s Revenue Management Team currently has an exciting opportunity to help with the continuous development of the LATAM joint venture. As a Specialist for Latin Pricing, you will play a crucial role in identifying and driving revenue-maximizing pricing strategies for our South America portfolio. This role offers an outstanding chance to work closely with our partner LATAM, focusing on pricing segmentation, fare structures, and competitive positioning.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate published pricing actions with our SAMR Joint Venture (JV) partner, LATAM.
  • Quickly analyze data, summarize results concisely, and present conclusions and recommendations effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Independently lead sophisticated and high-profile spanet scopes or projects with proven proficiency.
  • Identify and analyze spanet issues and trends, determine appropriate pricing actions, and conduct post-audit assessments.
  • Apply technical skills and knowledge to ensure detailed execution of pricing strategies.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to peers, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced, team-centered environment with minimal oversight.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required; experience with Brio/Hyperion/SAS is a plus.
  • Ability to build new or improve existing processes/tools.
  • Valuable experience participating in multiple cross-divisional projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Strongly preferred experience in pricing, revenue management, or related fields.
  • Availability to occasionally work weekends.
  • Capability to balance multiple responsibilities in a time-sensitive environment based on revenue impact.
  • Satisfactory performance in your current position.
  • Consistent prioritization of safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embrace a diverse group of people, thinking, and styles with an influential ability.
  • Natural curiosity to dig into data and understand underlying drivers of performance.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • 3-5 years of relevant airline commercial experience in revenue management, sales, or network planning.
  • Familiarity with pricing systems (ATPCO, Sabre AirPrice AVFM), unpublished pricing, and DLTerm.
  • Advanced knowledge of Delta’s analytical databases (RPAD, FPS, MIDT, DDS, etc)
