Your Challenges:
[Develop SAF production regional overview]: 40
Collect information on SAF production projects, initiatives, technology pathways including regulations under preparation or implementation across the US Region
Keep track, coordinate and follow-up on all actions related to SAF projects in the US Region
Be capable, with the support of company engineering and finance, to evaluate the technical and financial value of a project
Build internal recommendations on how company should support projects within the Region, along with proposed strategy cases and associated roadmaps and if relevant champion the internal investment decision process (M&A process)
In collaboration with the central team, and in accordance with the company’s SAF strategy and regional roadmap, define an engagement plan with local SAF producers
Ensure successful collaboration between company and regional energy providers & other relevant customers in line with overall company strategy and objectives
Design and run specific collaboration projects with consultancy or other entities to develop and implement new sources of SAF with O&G producers. Work hand-in-hand with the company central team to exchange on respective information, good practices and benchmark projects implemented in other regions, allowing a greater degree of cross-fertilization
[Develop SAF infrastructure]: 40
Drive sustainable fuel opportunities to achieve company’s announced decarbonization goals, including: pipeline development/opportunity identification, case analysis, technical and environmental due diligence, and offtake/ investment agreement discussions
Project management of SAF infrastructure projects as they relate to company operations and its customers in the US
Solidify relationships with SAF technology suppliers, certification agencies, government bodies(e.g. ASTM, DOE BETO, etc)
[SAF Ambassador Support]: 20
Support the Regional SAF ambassador in its duty to feedback the SAF project with consolidated partners intelligence data
Prepare management briefs, presentations and other relevant documents
As vital be the supplier interface on SAF & Sustainability
Engage in and connect company to the latest SAF developments and trends, including representing the company at industry events and other platforms
Additional Responsibilities:Other duties as assigned:
Work hand-in-hand with the company’s central team to exchange on respective information, good practices and benchmark projects implemented in other regions, allowing a greater degree of cross-fertilization
Support other decarbonization efforts or special projects within the International, Government Affairs and Corporate Sustainability Environment teams
Support the overall SAF knowledge center consolidation by regular exchanges and updates with/to the central team
Carry out company objectives to implement contractual commitment with the SAF ecosystem
Provide SAF and SAF-related technical and subject matter expertise and recommendations both internally and externally
Your Boarding Pass:Required: Master Degree in science, sustainability or environmental management, marketing, business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required: 3+ years of experience in Aerospace and Defense Industry and understanding of the Aerospace value chain
Preferred: Past experience within company
Preferred: 5 years of experience in chemical industry or petrochemical industry or oil refining
Preferred: Experience in sustainable aviation fuels production
Preferred: Project Management Certification is desirable
Required: Detailed knowledge of current state of SAF: Technical (feedstock/pathways, logistics, opportunities/constraints), Commercial (current and future players, vertical value chain, competitor activities), Policy (Current and proposed legislation, RINs, LCFS)
Required: Knowledge of environmental life cycle assessment, including familiarity with GREET LCA modeling
Required: Basic knowledge of petroleum industry; specifically jet fuel and/or refined products and logistics
Required: Knowledge of ESG principles
Required: Autonomy and ability to exchange with specialists from various backgrounds
Required: Skilled in understanding and explaining technical concepts in a manner tailored to the audience
Required: Track record of developing impactful relationships with co-workers and industry peers
Required: Must have the ability to assume a high level of responsibility, working independently and in partnership within a large organization
Required: Must have ability to balance a wide range of opposing assignments and deliver high-quality results occasionally within very tight timeframes

Pay Details: $51.44 to $56.73 per hour
