Responsibilities:
Lead supplier management activities across procurement, contract negotiation, supplier performance, and compliance for aerospace and defense programs.
Oversee supply and demand planning, schedules, supplier quality, delivery performance, and cost metrics.
Develop and execute negotiation strategies for pricing and contract terms, resulting in formal agreements.
Interpret and enforce U.S. government contract terms and conditions, ensuring supplier adherence.
Coordinate with external customers and cross-functional teams to resolve supplier performance issues.
Guide supplier performance teams and contribute to the development of long-term strategic sourcing solutions.
Participate in supply chain process improvement initiatives and integrate best practices into procurement strategies.
Support a high-visibility program focused on shaping the next generation of aircraft.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s + 8 years, or 14 years of experience without a degree).
5+ years of cradle-to-grave procurement experience in U.S. government contracting.
5+ years of direct experience with FAR/DFAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a wide range of government contract types, including T&M, FFP, and Cost Plus.
Prior work with U.S. Department of Defense contract management.
Familiarity with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and compliance processes.
Background in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
Experience in Contracts & Pricing and negotiating terms and conditions.
