Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Group Finance Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis at the group level. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn about corporate finance and accounting in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the group consolidation process by gathering and reconciling financial data from subsidiaries.
Conduct variance analysis and financial performance tracking.
Help with financial audits by compiling necessary documentation and assisting auditors.
Work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools/software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus but not required.
