Execute specialized payroll functions including data entry, calculations, and preparation of reports, remittances, and summaries in compliance with established procedures.Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate payments.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through correspondence and by responding to payroll-related inquiries.Support payroll operations by adhering to policies, identifying process improvements, and contributing to team objectives, while maintaining strict confidentiality.Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with PC software Excel, Word and email;Proven analytical and problem-solving skills;Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal;Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;Ability to multitask and anticipate process before directed to do so;Ability to work independently and in a team environment;Ability to prioritize duties and use good judgement;Minimum two (2) years payroll experience preferred;  Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll will be considered an asset;Completion of the NPI’s Payroll Compliance Legislation and Payroll Fundamentals 1 courses and actively pursuing PCP or CPM payroll certification an asset;Bilingual an asset;Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest, at the time any offer of employment is made and seeking any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibly of the candidates applying for this position.
