Job Description
This role is under the Revenue Accounting Product team within the Finance Operations Department. The candidate will be working with multiple teams (general ledger, accounts receivable, intercompany, etc) to provide reports related to airline passenger sales and revenue. This role requires the candidate to gather reporting requirements from the user, to understand the problem statement, to develop the report using SQL, and to present the data to the end user using other data tools (i.e. data studio, csv reports).
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate problems and develop/execute appropriate action.
- Knowledgeable / experience in SQL like Big Query, Microsoft SQL, My SQL, etc. Preferred SQL language: Google Big Query
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
Preferred
- Knowledgeable in Finance System / ERP system.
- Know key concepts in revenue accounting, and be able to apply these concepts in creating financial reports using data from multiple sources which may include but are not limited to financial systems, SQL databases, Excel, CSV, and text files
