Job Title: Test Engineer

The main customers of this position are Honeywell manufacturing unit located in Chihuahua, Supply Chain personnel (Sourcing) as well as the HCMO engineering facilities

Primary Responsibilities of Position:

Act as Test Engineer for Honeywell Material Testing needs for production (process release) and engineering support. Employee main responsibility will include ensures that metallography laboratory analysis are performed and documented according to Aerospace quality and industry requirements, including quality audit activities and Root Cause and Corrective Actions implementation. As process owner of the different testing disciplines performed at met lab lab, the employee responsibility is to ensure that all routine testing performed in the laboratory is documented in a testing procedure, maintains the procedures up to date, performing revisions according to industry standards changes or process improvement.

As Test Engineer also will be the responsible of the proper use of equipment in the laboratory, ensuring all equipment are working properly and produces accurate results as required.

The employee will also participates and leads projects for process improvement and new processes implementation, delivering results according to schedule and properly documenting projects and validations of new testing methods as applicable

• Make synergy with multidisciplinary teams: customers and other departments and sites on the organization to resolve Honeywell manufacturing challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Materials Science/Engineering or other engineering with at least 2 years of experience in industrial laboratory.

Able to demonstrate basic understanding of materials science.

General knowledge in safety and quality systems.
