UnspecifiedWhat You Will Do
- Provide technical support to achieve engineering and quality excellence.
- Work on engine overhaul workscope under the Fleet management Program (FMP).
- Review and provide engine workscope instructions to the shop, complying with engineering data during the engine shop visit.
- Perform review of Modification Service Bulletin (SB) and provide timely information to the shop when applicable.
- Analyze out-of-manual conditions and provide engineering solutions in relation to engine part repair and overhaul processes.
- Liaise and coordinate with engine OEM, airline customers and aviation authorities for engine condition documentation and reporting
- Liaise with the OEM and subcontractors on engine investigation and repair processes.
- Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards resolution.
- Communicate with customers on out-of-manual repair approval through eCARS system
- Propose creative engineering solution to reduce engine turnaround time and shop visit cost.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to bring change to the department and company
- Assist the Engineering Management in special projects
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in aerospace MRO setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to interpret technical data, drawings and engine manuals (SB, SPM, EM and CIR).
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to think and process information in the macro and micro level.
- Highly motivated and innovative individual who is meticulous
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experienced in leading aero-engine troubleshooting and investigation is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with FAI process is preferred.
- Working knowledge in SAP & Solumina
- Versatile worker who can work well in a team setting and independently.
