Job Description

After orientation, training and working under direct supervision:

30 - Support operation and maintenance requirements analyses with a strong emphasis on maintainability and human factors for mechanical and fluid systems. These tasks typically support concept development of rocket engine propulsion products during their design phase. Job duties range from Field Engineering to Logistics. This position will ensure that fielded products meet customer expectations.

30 - Provide support to Advanced Propulsion Concepts for Spacecraft Integration, including Concept of Operations, Functional Flow Analysis, Affordability Analysis and overall estimates to the customer for Operational timelines and cost of ownership.

20 - Support Field Engineering and Launch Support activities for vehicles using liquid propulsion booster and upper stage engines.

20 - Support Ground Support Equipment and Large Scale Facility Integration of NASA and Department of Defense Space Propulsion Products.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics (or similar major) OR enrolled in an advanced degree program in related major, and returning to school upon completion of the assignment.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $28.50 - $52.50/hr. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $25/hr- $47.50/hr.. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
