Role Summary
* In this role, you will support Ground and Mission Systems Engineering (GMSE) within the Space, Intelligence, and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) division. YOU will apply modern DevSecOps practices, manage secure test environments, automate and improve integration and test processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, testing, and demonstration of next-generation technologies for U.S. government national security missions. Education & Job Requirements You must have:
* A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* U.S. citizenship is required.
* A minimum of 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with Python programming language.
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and tools.
* Experience with JIRA and Confluence. Preferred Skills You will have:
* Experience with Linux.
* Experience with Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript/React, database, and mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS).
* Experience working with Government customers.
* Active CompTIA Security+ certification. Job Duties & Functions You will be:
* Applying modern DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code, to streamline integration and test activities.
* Standing up, configuring, and maintaining secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources.
* Driving continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliability.
* Automating, developing, monitoring, improving, and troubleshooting across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls.
* Reviewing, developing, documenting, and maintaining system requirements and traceability.
* Interfacing with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers.
